Over the… however long it is I’ve been doing this Substack, quite a few things to read have been made available. It struck me that they’re spread all over the place and across a slew of different posts, and also that some have been up until now only for the paid subscribers, and so this post is here to centralize them for ease of access. I’ll update it over time should I share more things to put in your brain via your eyes.
Short Stories
The online library of twelve short stories, initially available only to paying subscribers, has now been opened to all as it’s been over a year since they went up. Go here.
Paid subscribers… thank you. I’m playing with ideas of what to do for you guys next. If you have any requests, please let me know in the comments.
A History of Santa Cruz
This was already available to all, but I’m putting it here again for your convenience. Or inconvenience. Whichever.
NOTE for people who are newish to this Substack and may have missed the original week-by-week posts… not everything in this book is completely true.
Warm Recollections
The most recent of the things uploaded here, but now with a variant cover because I was bored. Actually, two. All have the same interior. Collect the set!
Please do share this post around, and encourage anybody you think might be interested to come and have a look. This is a reader-supported publication, and so the more readers the better. Thank you!
HELL HATH ENLARGED HERSELF... I love all your work, and the three Michaels are equally cool, but this story has a special place in my heart. It's the one that turned me into the type of die-hard fan that will seek the b-sides, and the extended version, and that rare Japanese single with the additional 5 seconds with more cowbell !
I remember reading years ago that you were discussing a tv adaptation? I would love to see that
Loved the Santa Cruz History stuff! Made I larf and some of the images were mesmerising!
Ideas of what to do for us paid subscribers...
I have some baby oil, a feather boa and some red hot camp trance you can use to perform some interpretive dance for me at a location of my choosing...
